Migraines & Chronic Illness:

Curable: Their programs and resources lessened the intensity and decreased the frequency of my migraines. It is not a cure, but it did have a huge impact on my life quality.

Chronic Pain Therapist: Before being diagnosed with an eating disorder, I worked with Mariclare Dasigenis virtually. Her support is warm and incredible, and she was instrumental in my pain management. I found her through the Pain Psychology Center.

MigraineBuddy: An incredibly useful app that allows you to track symptoms, potential triggers, where you were at onset, how long it lasted, what treatments worked to stop the migraine, etc. I highly recommend this app if you are looking to know more about what potentially causes your migraines, how to treat them, and how to prevent them from occurring in the first place.

Huggarroo Headache Wrap: You can make this hot or cold. I like freezing it and then wrapping it around my head to help me sleep when I have a bad migraine.

Koi Naturals CBD Oil: Taking a dropper of this everyday is one of my tools to prevent migraines and also tamp down the intensity of them. I do not recommend the “natural” flavor if you are someone who does not like the smell or taste of weed. I have tried the spearmint and strawberry flavors, and while both are good, I like the strawberry flavor the best.

NUG Chocolate Edibles (THC): I eat one square nightly, a couple hours before bed. It helps me sleep and also helps if any pain has crept in. I try to only take these when the pain is getting distracting or when I’m ready to go to sleep because these make me very sleepy and can sometimes make me feel high. I do not like the smell or taste of marijuana, and these chocolates do an excellent job of masking the smell and flavor.
